We understand that the decision to seek therapy may not always be an easy or comfortable one. Many people struggle to reach out, or fear that they lack the power to change themselves or their environment. We want you to know that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Our purpose is to provide you with a safe haven free from judgment, where you can discover your own strength to face whatever life brings you.

Individual Counseling for Adults, Children, and Teens
Sometimes it just feels like life sucks and nothing’s ever going to get better. You may feel depressed, or anxious, or just plain lost. Do you have trouble managing feelings of anger or frustration? Do you feel like no one understands or is listening? Maybe you’re struggling with lack of motivation or executive dysfunction. Or maybe you just feel like everything is rapidly shifting out of your control and you’re searching for a way to get off the roller coaster. Individual therapy sessions provide our clients with an opportunity to work one-on-one with a licensed counselor who can provide a safe space free from judgment to explore and overcome the difficulties they are experiencing. We want to help you learn to embrace and love all parts of yourself.
Romantic love is complicated, and we aren’t born knowing how to support each other in healthy adult relationships. Building a romantic relationship between two, or more, adults is hard work that takes patience and a willingness to communicate with each other openly and honestly. Are you and your partner having trouble communicating or have you experienced decreased intimacy? Has a significant change or life event caused emotional distance, jealousy, or spurred fears of infidelity? Relationship counseling aims to improve the connection between adults engaged in a long-term relationship and give them the tools to advocate for themselves, communicate with each other, and support each other in building a healthy and fulfilling life together.
Nobody’s family is perfect; nearly all families deal with some sort of dysfunction at one time or another. Do you feel like you and your family members can’t communicate with each other or lack a sense of support and connection? Maybe you’re a parent who’s struggling to manage the behavior of your child or adolescent, or your family has recently experienced a loss or transition that you need help navigating through. During family counseling you’ll get help to improve communication between family members and learn how to work together to build stronger connections and solve the specific problems that your family faces.
The problems that face members of the LGBTQ+ community are often unique. Individuals who belong to this community frequently experience discrimination or bullying due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, and as a result can struggle to manage feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, or gender dysphoria. These feelings can be particularly difficult for children and teens who identify as LGBTQ+ and they often need a safe and nurturing place to process those feelings as they grow and learn about themselves. If you or a family member are struggling with problems related to coming out, lack of acceptance in your family or social groups, or if you need help supporting someone in your life who’s struggling with these issues, we can help.
